In 1965, after many successful years in the construction industry, Pat N. Wardlaw took advantage of an opportunity to apply his expertise to the growing field of catastrophe insurance claims adjusting. Starting out as a one-man operation, Wardlaw Claims Service quickly grew into a small team of experienced and dedicated adjusters.
In 1993, after twenty-eight years of dedicated leadership, Pat Wardlaw moved to the position of Consultant to Wardlaw Claims Service and sold the company he founded to the partnership of Mike N. Wardlaw, Matt P. Fatheree, William F. Wardlaw and Rebecca W. Clark. On July 1, 1993, Mike N. Wardlaw, Matt P. Fatheree and William F. Wardlaw assumed day-to-day operations of Wardlaw Claims.
In 1994, Wardlaw Claims Services’ subsidiary company, Custom Data Systems, Inc. was formed to employ the gifted Information Technology personnel that keep Wardlaw Claims ahead of the “technology curve” in Independent Adjusting. This multi-talented I.T. staff includes Jeff Keahey, Amy K. Jones, Aaron Hawkins, and Jeremy Knue. Custom Data Systems also employs the invaluable clerical staff of Sue Ashley and Amy Clay.
Wardlaw Claims Services’ Loss Management System, conceived and developed by CDS Systems Designer, Klynt Klimek, allows Wardlaw adjusters to download claims directly. By reducing human-error to a minimum and interfacing with claims estimating software and mapping software, Loss Management represents a giant leap forward in claims handling speed, efficiency, and accuracy, as well as, customer service.
In 2001, the Wardlaw Claims Service Field Management Team was formed to provide a hands-on, personalized, on-site management environment to assist the rapidly expanding Wardlaw adjusting team. This Field Management Team is key to Wardlaw Claims' continued growth and commitment to excellence.
