The 2010 Hurricane Season is fast approaching, and we all want to be ready for it. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation is currently the largest insurer in the State of Florida with over 1 million policies in force. This course will explore the Vision, Mission and Values that are unique to Citizens. The 1 day course will cover Ethics and Good Faith, Florida Statutes, Citizens Policies, Customer Service, Estimating Standards and File Quality. The course will also include Residential, Commercial and Mobile Homes claims handling and how these relate to Citizens Property Insurance Corporation. We will review CTS, which is their unique Claims Tracking System, and explore how a claim will be worked within that system. Citizens does require that an adjuster participate once per year in a Face to Face Citizens Certification to be eligible for deployment during that year. This year the NON CAT and CAT certifications will be presented together. This way an adjuster will only be required to attend one certification in order to be eligible for both.
Citizens Property Insurance Corporation does require that to be eligible for deployment an adjuster should have a minimum of 2 years adjusting experience. |
