| This class will consist of a 3 day program to familiarize adjusters with the basic principles of commercial claims handling. There will be hands-on training on commercial construction techniques, building material identification, and the overall scoping and estimating procedures associated with working commercial claims.Upon completion of the class students should have a well rounded basic knowledge of handling a commercial claim for various lines of coverage and various causes of loss. The students should also come away with a better knowledge of commercial building practices and the repair methods most commonly used in handling commercial claims. |

| Customer service, ethical claims handling, and insurance carrier expectations will be focused on in the course. The common commercial policy types, layout, and terminologies will also be discussed and practiced with sample claims scenarios.The class is open to all licensees and will count toward their continuing education credits as specified by the Texas Department if Insurance. All course procedures and certificates will comply with the rules and regulations of the Texas Department of Insurance. |
