| The Basic Auto Adjusting General course will be a hands-on class where students will be introduced to the basics of auto estimating. Students will become familiar with generating a computerized estimate for damages associated with hail, flood, minor exterior damages and total loss assessments. Students will be able to recognize and estimate Paintless Dent Repairable damages and understand this repair process. Students will understand basic terminology in the auto repair industry and terminology associated with the insurance industry. Students will be given information on the actual handling of an auto claim both in a field and a drive-in situation. Students will be given information on ethical claims handling, policy information and customer service skills. A course review with an exam, will follow the training exercises for comprehension of course material. |
