Basic Parts of the Insurance Contract

The Basic Parts of the Insurance Contract course will enable the student to precisely identify the basic parts of an insurance contract, have the ability to understand the different types of coverage available, and be able to understand the policy language. With the knowledge gained in this course the student will be able to accurately assess different insurance contracts and identify key areas of importance. The 2 hour self study format is open to all licensees.

Determining Legal Liability

The Determining Legal Liability course will enable the student to interpret legal liability for a claimant's loss by establishing negligence, understanding the defenses against negligence, and determining the extent of legal liability. The 2 hour self study format is open to all licensees.

Evidence

The Evidence course will enable the student to understand the different types of evidence, the admissibility of evidence into court, hearsay, presumptions, and how important it is to gather good evidence to help facilitate the burden of proof in a court of law. The 4 hour self study format is open to all licensees.

Insurance and Business Ethics

The Insurance and Business Ethics course will present business ethics material to the student in a straightforward text. Contemporary and classical business cases are presented in a manner that the student can analyze and interpret the material using ethical principles and decision-making styles. The basic goal of this material is to stimulate the curiosity of the student about ethics in business and to deepen their general understanding of what is at stake in these issues. The 4 hour self study format is open to all licensees.

Investigating Auto Liability Claims

The Investigating Auto Liability Claims course will enable the student to interpret auto liability laws, discuss case studies, and learn how to investigate specific types of insurance claims in order to determine who was at fault in an auto accident. The 4 hour self study format is open to all licensees.

Statements Liability

The Statements Liability course will enable the student to recognize the various types of statements and the situations in which to use them. They will learn the proper formats, information required and proper questioning techniques. Skills learned in this course will enable the student to extract all information necessary while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere during the process. The 4 hour self study format is open to all licensees.
